Introduction

I made this up out of what I had in my cupboards. You can use chickpeas if you like to be more traditional, but the butter beans (large lima beans) are great. Ingredients

    1 can Butter Beans, drained
    6 fresh basil leaves
    3 - 4 cloves of garlic
    1/2 cup water (+/- depending on your blender)
    3 tsp lemon juice (+/- depending on taste)

Tips

Serve as a condiment, pizza sauce, or instead of mayo on a sandwich. Suitable for Forks Over Knives or Engine 2 Diets. No oil.


Directions

Whirl all ingredients in a blender or food processor until it reaches desired consistency.
