Ingredients

2 Tablespoons Cider Vinegar
1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar (loosely packed)
1/3 Cup Dry White Wine
1 Cup Fat-Free Low-Sodium Chicken Broth
1/2 Fresh, Ripe Pear, cut into slices
1 1/2 Inch Piece of Fresh Ginger, peeled and cut into julienne strips (apx. 1/4 cup)
3 Scallions, trimmed and diced
2 Teaspoons Cornstarch, mixed with 2 Teaspoons Water
Tips
Could also work with chicken.
Adding ginger powder and ground cinnamon while cooking pork gives dish an extra pop.
Directions
After cooking pork chops, drain fat from pan, and add all the ingredients to the pan, except for cornstarch mixture. Bring to a simmer, stirring the entire time. Cook, uncovered, for about 5 minutes. Add cornstarch mixture and stir until lightly thickened. Add pork chops and turn to coat with sauce. Serve immediately.
