    Onions, raw, .5 cup, chopped
    Lentils, 1 cup, cooked
    Brown Rice, medium grain, 1 cup cooked
    Carrots, raw, 1 cup, grated
    Mushrooms, fresh, .5 cup, pieces or slices
    Olive Oil, Extra Virgin, 2 tbs
    Egg, fresh, 1 medium
    Egg white, 1
    Salt, 1 tsp
    Pepper, 1 tsp
    Crisco Pure Vegetable Oil, 2 tbsp, for frying


Makes 8 patties 3/4 inches thick. Use 3/4 C of mixture for one patty.

Mix all ingredients together except vegetable oil. Heat vegetable oil in skillet. Ladel 3/4 C of mix into pan for each burger. Flip burger when set. Cook 8 minutes on each side.

Serve on whole grain bun or alone with side of raw or cooked veggies.
