Ingredients

    2 tbls butter
    2 tbls flour
    3/4 c. 1% milk
    1/2 tsp dry mustard
    4 oz sharp cheddar cheese
    2 cups whole wheat macaroni

Directions

Melt 2 tbls butter in a sauce pan. Add the 2 tbls of flour and the dry mustard and whisk for about 2 minutes until flour is cooked. Slowly stir in milk making sure to constantly whisk out the lumps. Once all the flour is dissolved into the milk, add the cheese. Stir until all of the cheese is melted.

In another pot, cook the pasta until tender.

In a square baking dish, pour cooked noodles in and then pour cheese sauce over it.

Sprinkle bread cumbs over it and bake for about 35 minutes at 350 degrees.

Makes one square baking dish worth.
