Easy, fast, healthy pasta sauce. Easy, fast, healthy pasta sauce.
Number of Servings: 4


    2 t olive oil
    3 cloves garlic, chopped
    1 can diced tomatoes (I go organic, low sodium)
    3 tomatoes, chopped
    1 T basil
    1 T parsley
    1 t oregano
    1/2 t pepper
    1/3 t salt


Makes ~4 one cup servings

Heat sauce pan. Once heated, add oil. As oil heats, add garlic.

Sautee garlic until fragrant, then add canned and fresh tomatoes. Add herbs, salt, and pepper, and stir.

Simmer 10-15 minutes until tomatoes start to break down a bit.

If eating penne type pasta, leave as is. If spaghetti type pasta, blend it to smooth consistency.
