Introduction

Ingredients

    1/2 cup unsalted butter -- room temp
    3/4 sugar
    1 1/4 cup flour
    1 tbsp cocoa
    1/2 tsp baking powder
    1/8 tsp salt
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp vanilla


    1 1/3 cups sweetened coconut flakes
    1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
    1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
    1/2 white chocolate chips
    1 14oz can sweetened condensed milk
    1 cup chopped pecans


Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl and set aside.

Mix butter in large mixing bowl until creamy. Add sugar and combine again until creamy. Mix in egg and vanilla. Scrape sides down with a spatula and mix food coloring in. Add dry ingredients slowly. Batter will be thick and sticky. Spread evenly in 9x13 pan. Bake on center rack for 8 minutes.

After 8 minutes, remove from oven, leaving oven on. Sprinkle coconut flakes evenly over top. Next, both the chocolate chips, then the white chocolate chips. Pour the condensed milk evenly over top. Last, add the pecans. Bake another 25 minutes or until set. Allow to cool on cooling rack for two hours before cutting into bars.
