Ingredients

    1 c. packed brown sugar
    2/3 c. apple cider vinegar
    1/4 c. lemon-lime soda
    2 tbsp. soy sauce
    1 tsp. fresh ground pepper
    2-3 tbsp. minced garlic
    2 tbsp. cornstarch
    2 tbsp. water
    pinch red pepper flakes
    4-6 chicken breasts

Tips

This is great over rice, asian noodles, or a baked potato.


Directions

Spray slow cooker with nonstick spray. Place chicken on bottom of cooker. Combine brown sugar, vinegar, soda, soy sauce, ground pepper, and garlic; pour over chicken. Cook on low 8 hours or on high 4 hours. When chicken is done, remove from cooker. Pour sauce into saucepan and place on high. Mix cornstarch and water and add to sauce. Boil sauce 2-3 minutes or until it starts to thicken and becomes a glaze. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes. Serve.
