Introduction

I make my own soup stock whenever I cook meat with bones... 1 turkey carcass (picked clean... keep the meat to make the soup)in about 1 gallon of water and let it stew overnight. pour it through a strainer to remove any bone fragments. Ingredients

    1.33L (0.33) gallon turkey broth
    200g (6.7oz) uncooked wildrice
    908g (2lbs) frozen vegetables (I used a Cauliflower/Carrot/Brocolli blend)
    3 cups chopped turkey
    1-1/8 tsp kosher salt or to taste

Directions

Pour Turkey broth into slow cooker. Cover and cook on high until boiling about 3 hours. Add wild ricce and vegetables. Cover and resme cooking, another 3 hours. add meat about 10 minutes before serving
