Ingredients

    5 strips of bacon, 1 onion, 1 zucchini, 3 potatoes, 1 red bell pepper, 3 tbsp flour, 3 cups stock, I cup water, 1.5 cups milk, 0.5 cup of heavy cream, hot sauce, thyme (5 to 6 fresh sprigs), 1 tbsp paprika, bay leaf, salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Chop bacon and cook until crisp, drain fat and put in chopped veggies. Add spices and Cook about 10 minutes until veggies are tender. Sprinkle flour over veggies. Pour stock and water in pot and bring to boil for 5 mins. Reduce heat to low and after the both has thicken a bit add milk and cream and simmer for about 5 mins.
Makes 6 filling servings.
