Ingredients

Roastbeef, 300 gram(s)
Carrots, raw, 200 grams
Parsley, 1 cup
whole onion, raw (1 onion)
Cornstarch, 10 grams
Guinness Draught Stout Beer, 16 oz
Beef broth, bouillon, consomme, 1 cup
Egg Yolk, 1 large
Butter, unsalted, 20 grams
Puff Pastry, 0.5 sheet
Directions
Chop beef into chunks that are max 1cm think. Cut carrots and mushrooms into slices and the onion into cubes. Hack parsley. Turn beef in cornstarch, salt and pepper.
In a pot, heat the butter and put the onions in, stir. Afterwards, put carrots, mushrooms and parsley in, stir. Add the beef and stir again.
Add guinness and beef broth. Let boil for 10 minutes and afterwards simmer on low heat for 1,5 hours. After 1,5 hours, put the mixture into a baking dish. Cover with puff pastry. Cut a hole into the puff pastry in the middle to let the steam out. Cover puff pastry thinly with egg yolk to get a nice color.
Bake at 200°C for 20-30 minutes, until the puff pastry has become golden.
Enjoy with a salad or mashed potatoes.
