Ingredients

    1 scoop dark chocolate protein powder
    1 medium roasted beet (cooled of course)
    1 cup fresh spinach
    1 cup unsweetened almond milk
    Stevia/vanilla extract/almond extract to your tastes

Tips

It's a smoothie. There are no rules. But if you like it, it's great to have beets on hand - I usually roast 6-12 at a time so I have this all star sweet veg available!


Directions

Toss in a blender. Easy peasy.

If you like it thicker, add an ice cube, use frozen spinach instead, or toss in some frozen berries. To make it thinner, add more almond milk or some water.

Serving Size: makes one 8oz smoothie
