Introduction

This is a rich and creamy dairy free indulgence. Don't let the cashew milk scare you off. Also, the original recipe called for 1 C. sugar which is way too sweet. The last time I made this we cut it down to 1/4 c. which was still too sweet. I hope you enjoy this as much as we do. This is a rich and creamy dairy free indulgence. Ingredients

    1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
    1 T. sugar
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/4 cup cornstarch
    3 cups of Silk Cashewmilk
    3 Tbsp Earth Balance
    1 1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions

1. Mix the cocoa, sugar, salt and cornstarch in a saucepan with a whisk.
2. While whisking, slowly add the Silk Cashewmilk.
3. Bring this mixture to a boil over medium heat while whisking constantly.
4. Remove from the heat and whisk in the earth balance and vanilla.
5. Pour it into small serving bowls or cups.
6. Place in the refrigerator for at least one hour.
7. Add the optional sprinkles when completed cooled (makes about 8 servings).
