    1 slice bacon, chopped into 1-inch pieces
    1 sweet yellow onion, thinly sliced
    1/2 small head of green cabbage, thinly sliced
    1/2 Pinata apple, chopped
    1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
    1 tbsp dark brown sugar


Cook bacon in saucepan until crisp. Remove bacon pieces and set aside. Add onion to hot bacon grease and saute until tender. Add vinegar, cabbage, apple, and brown sugar to onion and stir well. Cover and cook until cabbage is tender. Stir occasionally. Serve hot.
