Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    Lean Stew Meat (Beef) - 1 lb.
    Cabbage - 1/2 head
    Carrots - 3 large
    Potato - 1 med./large
    Bell Pepper - 1 med.
    Celery - 2 lg. stalks
    Onion - 1 med.
    Roma Tomatoes - 6

    Seasoning to taste

Directions

Chop vegetables and place in large pot with stew meat and about 1/3 full of water.

Add your choice of seasoning.

Bring to a boil and lower heat and boil until vegetables are tender.

  • It was pretty good, but I had to add some stuff to punch it up. I used beef broth instead of water. Threw in a bayleaf or two. I also added some green beans, garlic, and left out the celery. The family really enjoyed it even my 2.5 yr old. - 2/7/11
