    1 egg, beaten
    2/3 c. milk
    1/2 c. oats
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 T. worchestershire sauce
    1 1/8 t. salt
    1/4 t. pepper
    2 lbs. ground beef
    1 4 oz. can mushrooms, drained
    1/2 c. sour cream


Combine egg & milk. Stir in oats, onion, w. sauce, salt and pepper. Add ground beef and mix well. Place 1/2 beef mixture in bottom of loaf pan. Make a shallow depression lengthwise down center of loaf.
Put sour cream and mushrooms in the center depression as evenly as possible. Cover with remaining beef mixture.
Bake @ 350 degrees for 60-70 min. Let stand for 10 min. before removing from pan. 4- 8 servings depending on how hungry you are :-)
