Ingredients

    Pork, cured, ham, steak, boneless, extra lean 8 oz.
    3 oz baby carrots, 6 oz
    Mrs. Dash (R) Garlic & Herb Seasoning Blend, 0.25 tsp or whatever seasonings you prefer
    Split Peas, 2 cup
    Onions, raw, .50 cup, chopped
    sofrito, 3 Tbs
    garlic, 6 cloves


Directions

cut up onions, ham steak, carrots and all

in large soup pot, fill pot about 6 inches of water above the ingredient, bring t boil on high, cover and let simmer 2 hours on low heat or until peas are nice and creamy, soupy consistency

Serving Size: makes 12, 1 cup serving
