Ingredients

    3 Tbsp White Flour
    1.5 cups 1% Milk
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 Tbsp shredded Parmesan Cheese
    1 Tbsp Basil Pesto
    .5 tsp Salt (more or less to taste)
    .25 tsp Cayenne Pepper

Tips

If this is too thick, add a little more milk, or water. If it is too thin, add a little more flour, but to avoid lumps, mix the flour into a small amount of cold water or milk before adding in.


Directions

With a whisk, quickly stir flour into cold milk in a small saucepan until there are no lumps. Add minced garlic, pesto, salt and cayenne pepper, and cook over medium-low heat, stirring constantly. When thickened, serve over pasta, chicken or vegetables.
