Ingredients

Angel Food white cake mix, Betty Crocker, 16 oz
Pineapple chunks, natural juice-NO sugar added, 20 oz
Apple pie filling, no sugar added, 20 oz

OPTIONAL: One 8 oz container fat free whipped topping and/or
1/4 to 1/2 cup toasted coconut.

Tips

Tips: Optional - Top with one 8 oz container fat free whipped topping and/or 1/4 to 1/2 cup toasted coconut.

Directions

. Do NOT drain juice in pineapple.
. Mix cake mix, Pineapple chunks w/juice (or crushed pineapple in juice) and Applie pie filling in bowl and stir with spoon, gently. Will foam up.
. Pour into lightly greased 13 x 9 pan. Don't be surprised because it will foam up.
. Put pan on a sheet cake pan lined with aluminum foil just in case it goes over the top. I thought for sure mine would, but didn't! Lucky me (LOL).
. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for about 20 minutes, CHECK, and if needed bake another 10 minutes until golden brown and springs back when touched in middle. I also used a toothpick to check for doneness.
. Cool completely on a wire rack.
