Ingredients

    1 package of yeast
    1 teaspoon sugar
    1/2 cup warm water
    3 cups warm water
    1/2-3/4 cup sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 cup oil
    3 tsp salt
    8-9 cups flour

Tips

Do not make in warm seasons. Suggested Starting times 6pm.


Directions

Combine yeast with teaspoon of sugar and 1/2 cup of warm water and allow to stand for 10 minutes until frothy. In a large bowl combine 3 cups warm water with the 1/2 cup of sugar. Beat in eggs, oil and salt. Then add 4-5 cups of flour.

Stir in yeast mixture and sufficient remaining flour to make soft dough. Turn onto floured surface and knead vigorously until smooth and elastic. Cover and allow to rise for 2 hours.

Punch down dough and allow to rise another 2 hours. After second rising knead bread briefly an shape into buns.
Set on a slightly greased cookie sheet and let rise in a cool kitchen until morning.

Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes
