Introduction

Ingredients

    6 cups rolled oats
    1 cup chopped walnuts
    1 1/3 cups dried cranberries
    1 cup dried cherries, chopped
    1/2 cup raisins
    1/2 cup dates, pitted and chopped
    1 1/2 cups applesauce, unsweetened
    1/4 cup splenda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp extract, any flavor, I prefer maple

Directions

Preheat oven to 35O.
Mix well the applesauce, extract, cinnamon and splenda. Pour this over the rolled oats and stir well.
Put the oats onto a baking sheet, 2 if you have them, and put in oven. Stir every 10-15 minutes till the oats are almost dry. At this point mix in the dried fruit and nuts and finish baking till dry.
Allow to COOL COMPLETLY before storing in an airtight container.
