1 oz lox
1 oz cream cheese fat free
1 scallion
1/4 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp capers (optional)

Can be messy to eat. But tasty!
Layer ingredients to make a quick sandwich on your favorite whole grain. Topped with spanish onion slice and roasted Anaheim, red or yellow pepper.
The Spread:
The mixed ingredients have more flavor and can be spread thinned on the bread. Thus, making an expensive ingredient make more servings and/ or allowing use of a higher fat cream cheese.
Put cheese in small bowl and set aside to reach room temperature. Slice lox while cold into small or rough pieces then add to cheese. When both are room temp blend together, ending with lox totally or loosely mixed with the cheese.
Rinse the capers add to the bowl DO NOT MIX. Slice the scallion into 1/4" rings add to the bowl. Mix trying not to smash the capers and onion rings. Chill.
