Ingredients

    Barilla Linguine, 16 oz
    chopped Sea Clams, 16 oz
    *garlic, one head or bulb, approx. 10 cloves, chopped
    *Basil fresh, bunch, 1 serving chopped
    *Fresh tomato, 5 oz diced
    *Trader Joe's - Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 0.4 tbsp
    *Dry White Wine, 0.5 cup
    *Trader Joe's Pecorino Romano & Parmesan Blend (2 tsp), 4 serving
    Black pepper: to taste

Tips

Serve with garlic bread, roasted Italian or French loaves of heated bread. ENJOY- this is NOT a diet day!


Directions

Chop garlic, basil
Boil water (salt and olive oil dash of each)
In saucepan put olive oil and garlic, brown to golden
Add clams with juice, heat through, add White wine,cook medium heat to cook off alcohol
Add tomato and take off heat, put lid on pan and set to side
Cook Linguine per instructions for 'al dente'
Drain and put in big pasta bowl, pour sauce on top
Garnish with fresh basil, cheese and black pepper

Serving Size: Makes ~ 8 1 3/4 cup servings
