    Strawberries, fresh, 4 cup, sliced
    Granulated Sugar, 1/4 cup
    Margerine, 2 tbsp
    Granulated Sugar, 1/2 cup
    Salt, 1 dash
    Flour, white, 3/4 cup
    Baking Powder, 1 1/4 tsp
    Milk, 2%, 1/4 cup


In a grease pyrex 8x8 mold, put the strawberries, sprinkle with the 1/4 cup of sugar and add a little water(a few tsp)
Cream the margerine, add the 1/2 cup of sugar then the egg
Mix the flour, salt and baking powder
Add to the egg mixture alternating with the milk
Spoon over the straberries
Cook at 350 F for 30-40 minutes until the cake is golden

Makes a 8x8 cake, so 9 servings
