vegan faux risotto

2 cups cooked brown rice
2 cups vegetable broth
1 cup water
1 T golden mountain sauce (or soy sauce)
1T onion powder
1 t parsley
* This is just the base only-- and is okay on it's own, but much better if you add to it. I add everything right at the beginning or just after the boil has been reached and it's all simmering.
Salad leftovers: carrot shreds, red cabbage, spinach, red onion
Mexican leftovers: black beans and salsa, red peppers and corn
umami forever: can of mock duck, chopped, roasted garlic, and portabella mushrooms with a dash or worcestershire sauce
Asian awesome: 5 spice fried tofu (chopped), green onions, carrot shreds, baby bock choy, and a dash of ginger powder. Garnish with cilantro, peanuts and bean sprouts.
my favorite, the total lazy way: toss in one bag of frozen veg when you start cooking.
Serving Size: 6 1/2 cup servings.
