Ingredients
Mushrooms, fresh, 113 grams
Lentils, .5 cup
Oatmeal (plain), 0.5 cup dry
Whiskey, 29.6 mL
Kikkoman Low Sodium Soy Sauce, 1 tbsp
Garlic, 1 clove
Oil OliveExtraVirgin Carbonell SS=1 Tbs, 1 serving
Salt, 1 dash
Pepper, black, 1 dash
*Cumin seed, 1 tsp
Oregano, ground, 1 tsp
Water 2 cups
Directions
Cook lentils with one cup of water until it boils and the simmer for 10 minutes.(lentils will be undercooked)
After lentils cool down, mix the cooked lentils and the mushrooms and put them in the food processor
In a frying pan,sautee garlic with olvie oil. Add lentil/mushroom mix to the pan and cooked for additional five minutes.
Add a cup of water, whiskey, soy sauce and condiments to the mix. Cooked until all water evaporates. (contents will be mushy)
Allow the mixture too cool down to the touch and form the patties to you liking
throw in the oven at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes or until brown.
