Introduction

A berry cobbler with a cake not biscuit type topping.
I use blueberries and blackberries but any berries would be great.

Ingredients

    1/2 cup butter
    2 cups blueberries (frozen or fresh)
    2 cups blackberries (frozen or fresh)
    1 cup cake and pastry flour
    1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
    pinch baking soda
    1 cup sugar
    1 cup buttermilk
    1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

preheat oven to 350 F


put melted butter in 8 by 11.5 inch pan

place berries on top, don't mix

mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and sugar

add buttermilk and vanilla, and mix

place batter gently on top of berries, don't mix

bake at 350 F for 45 mintes

Serving Size: makes 12 servings
