Number of Servings: 12


    3/4 cup whole wheat flour
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper (coarse)
    1 tbsp canola or olive oil
    1/4 cup cold tap water


Mix together flour, salt and pepper. Add oil and mix until it looks like a fine meal. Gradually stir in water with a fork just until dough forms a ball. On a well floured board roll dough out to about 8"x12". Place dough on baking sheet and if you wish, score into 24 2" crackers. Sprinkle with coarse salt and dried herbs or pepper and lightly press into dough. Bake in preheated oven on 350ยบ for about 25-35 minutes (turning halfway) or until crisp.
