Introduction

Ingredients

    16 oz Turkey, Ground turkey, 93% lean
    4 cup Spaghetti/Marinara Sauce (tomato sauce)
    1 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw
    0.5 cup Progresso Bread Crumbs - Italian Style
    2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    1 cup, shredded Mozzarella Cheese, whole milk

Directions

Mix raw turkey with raw egg and bread crumbs. You can also add some chopped onion, if you wish. Shape into 8 equal patties. Cook in frying pan over medium heat with the olive oil. Turn when browned, about 4-5 minutes. Cook until both sides are browned and cooked through, approx ten min depending on how thick your patties are. Drain on paper towel. Take 1 cup of spaghetti sauce and smooth over the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish. Add patties in a single layer. Spread the rest of the sauce over th patties and pan. Sprinkle the mozzarella over each patty. Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, or until cheese is melted and heated through.
