40 grams Onions, raw
1 1tsp Olive Oi
3 cup Milk, nonfat (skim milk)
1 cup Kraft 2% Shredded Cheddar Cheese
800 gram(s) Potato - Plain Baked Russet Potato
1 tsp Salt l
2 tsp Dill weed, dried
*Add 1-2 strips of crumbled bacon for added flavor! (calories not included)
*After they were baked, I cut the potatoes into quarters but this step is not necessary depending on your blender.
**If you dont have a Vitamix, simply follow the steps above in a food processor and then heat on the stove for 10 minutes until simmering.
Saute the onion in 1tsp olive oil until cooked through.
When everything is ready, to your Vitamix in order add:
Milk, HALF the potato amount, onions, HALF cup cheddar and salt.
Blend on the soup setting or if you don't have the soup setting then Blend on setting 1 for 20 seconds then slowly increase to setting 10 and blend for 5.5 minutes.
Open the small hole in the lid and add the other half of the potatoes and the other half cup of cheese. Blend on low setting 1 for 10-15 seconds.
Serve piping hot!
