Introduction

Lean beef patties

I like to cook a large batch of these in 3 oz portions and keep them in the fridge. They reheat well and quickly, and can be paired with veggies to make a quick and lean meal for lunch or dinner. Change up the seasonings to suit your tastes.

Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

2 lbs 96% extra lean ground beef
1/2 cup italian style bread crumbs
    1/8 cup worcestershire sauce
    1 large egg
    garlic powder, to taste
    onion powder, to taste
    pinch cayenne pepper
    salt and pepper, to taste

Tips

Cook time may vary depending on how big of a surface you are cooking your patties on. I cook mine on a griddle that only fits a few at a time.

Directions

Combine all ingredients in large bowl. Mix well. Using a food scale, measure meat into 3 oz portions and shape into patties. Cook using desired method until meat is cooked through and no longer pink.

Serving Size: Makes about 10 (3 oz) patties
