Ingredients

    2 Cups Unsweetened Applesauce
    1 Cup Granulated Sugar
    2 Eggs
    2 Ripe Bananas (medium to large)
    1 Cup Wheat Germ
    1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
    1 1/2 Cups Whole Wheat Flour
    1/4 teaspoon Salt
    2 teaspoons Vanilla

Directions

mix all ingredients until well blended. pour entire mixture into greased bread pan or pour into greased muffin cups. makes about 14 muffins. bake at 350 for about 1 hour for a loaf or about 20 min. for muffins.

    Very Good
    These were very good. I made slightly larger muffins because I only have twelve tins and didn't use quite all of the batter. I baked them about 23 min. I think next time I am going to aim for 25-27 min. though. I will definitely make this again. Very tasty! - 8/4/08

    I made these today. They are very good. I will make them again. I made them into muffins, it yeilded me 22 muffins. - 5/4/08
