Ingredients

    1 cup, finely chopped Onions, raw
    2 tsp Olive Oil
    2 clove Garlic
    2 Honeycrisp or Braeburn apple, finely chopped
    1 tsp Cinnamon, ground
    32 oz Ground Turkey - 97% fat free extra lean white turkey
    3 tbsp Pure Maple Syrup
    4 Egg whites
    1/2 c. Bob's Red Mill Oat Flour ( or make your own)
    1 tsp Pepper, black ( to taste)
    2 pinches Nutmeg, ground

Tips

Ground turkey, sweet apples and maple syrup combine to make healthy homemade breakfast patties. Great for freezing and reheating


Directions

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.

Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and spray with non-stick cooking spray

Heat olive oil in large frying pan over medium heat. Add onions and garlic and cook until garlic becomes fragrant ( about 3 minutes). Add in diced applies and cook a few more minutes until apples soften. Remove from heat and transfer to a large bowl, stir in cinnamon and nutmeg.
Add in ground turkey, maple syrup, egg whites, oat flour, salt and pepper. Mix well. Divide into 32 patties and place on prepared baking sheet.
