Ingredients

2 lb. Ground beef
2 tbsp. Lard or Oil
1/2 cp. chopped Onions
8 oz. fresh mushrooms
1 clove Garlic (minced)
1/2 cp. Almond Flour
2 large Eggs
2 cp. Beef broth
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp black Pepper
2 tbsp. Flax Seed Meal
2 tbsp. Grated parmesan cheese
1 tbsp. Xanthan Gum (Thickener)
3 tbsp. Marinara Sauce or tomato sauce
1 tsp. Vinegar
2 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
1 tsp. ground mustard
1 tsp. Garlic powder
1/4 cup water
1 tbsp Parsley, dried
Directions
1. Saute onions, mushrooms, minced garlic with oil in a large pan until onion is softened.
2. Remove from pan and set aside.
3. In a large bowl mix together beef, eggs, garlic powder, salt, pepper, flaxseed, Parmesan and 1/2 cup beef broth. Add a 1/2 cup of the cooked onion to this mixture.
4. Shape into 8 ovals.
5. Brown patties in the same pan you used for the onions until browned on both sides.
6. Remove patties from pan.
7. In the pan, mix together the remaining broth, xanthan gum, marinara sauce, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, garlic powder, water and parsley. Stir on low until thickened. Add mushroom mixture.
8. Arrange patties in a crock pot in a pyramid shape and cover with mushrooms and gravy.
9. Cook on low for 5-8 hours.
