Introduction

Ingredients

    2 cup, sliced Strawberries, fresh
    4 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
    2 serving honey (raw, trader joes, organic) (1 tbs)
    0.5 fl oz Lemon Juice
    1 tsp Vanilla Extract
    0.25 tsp Salt

Tips

If you want it sweeter, add more honey.


Directions

1. Heat the balsamic in a small saucepan over high heat. When it starts to bubble, reduce the heat to a simmer until liquid is reduced by . It should be viscous when you run a spatula through it.
2. Add the remaining ingredients to the saucepan and increase the heat to medium. Heat for 5-10 minutes until strawberries break down.
3. Remove the mixture from the heat and puree if desired. If not, then wait until it cools, then store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
