Introduction
A friend posted this video on FB and it looked really good, so I tried it. I stretched the 10 biscuits into a 12 serving. I might try croissants or pizza crust next time. Ingredients
-
16 oz 90% lean ground beef (taco meat)
1 dash Salt
1 dash Pepper, black
8 tbsp Ketchup, Heinz
3 tsp or 1 packet Yellow Mustard
1 tsp Lea & Perrins, Worcestershire Sauce
2 tbsp Lite Brown Sugar from Aldi
10 serving Biscuit, pillsbury grands jr golden layers
1.333 serving Cheddar Cheese Slice, Sharp, HEB Brand (by RMARSH07)
Directions
Cook and drain your meat. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix in your Ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire and brown sugar. Cook a bit longer on low to cook in the flavors.
In a 12 count muffin pan, sprayed lightly, divide your biscuits around and spread down and around the cup. Add the meat right after you put the biscuit in because it will start to shrink back to shape. Cook at 400 for 10 minutes.
Take out and top with cheese and then put back in for 5 minutes until melted. Top with desired toppings (options: pickles, tomatoes, lettuce.........NOT INCLUDED IN NUTRITION!!)
Makes 6 servings of 2 cups each.
Enjoy!
Serving Size: 6 servings of 2 cups each
