    500 grams of frozen okra (2 packages)
    2 tbsp olive oil
    1 medium onion chopped verry fine
    2 cloves of garlic, crushed
    4 medium tomatoes peeled and chopped
    (canned tomatoes)
    1 fl oz. of lemon juice
    2 fl oz of sherry or white cooking wine
    salt and pepper to taste


1. sautee okra over medium heat with 1 tbsp of olive oil
2. While the okra is on, prepare the onion, garlic and tomatoe mixture.
3. add the mixture along with the other tbsp of oil after the okra have fully thawed and are starting to brown a little (~7 minutes)
4. turn the heat down low and wait until the onins become translucent
5. add sherry, lemon juice, salt and pepper and stir.
6. simmer over low heat until sauce reaches desired consistancy
