Ingredients

    1 cup Butter, unsalted
    1 cup Granulated Sugar
3 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw
    2 tsp Vanilla Extract
.12 tsp McCormick Pure Almond Extract (by NARINFLA)
3.50 cup Flour - Gold medal all purpose flour
    1.50 tsp Baking Powder
    .50 cup, chopped Pecans
    2 tbsp Anise Seed

Tips

Note :Initial cook time is 30 min IN BISCOTTI PAN. Afterwards it is 15 min for EACH side on a cookie baking sheet that is a total of 15-15-15-15=1 hour. After each 15 min. ,turn biscotti on a DIFFERENT side to cook.

Directions

Mix all ingredients. Spray biscotti pan with PAM cooking spray ,making sure to get the sides as well as bottom coated. Put batter in pan ,spreading it with fingers to cover bottom of pan. Try to make it level as much as possible.
Bake @ 325 degrees Farenheit for 30 min.Let cool when taken out of oven.Cut into 28 pieces ,two columns of 16 each.
TAKE OUT of pan and cook on EACH SIDE 15 min.on a COOKIE BAKING SHEET at same degrees oven ~325 degrees Farenheit. So you have to bake the biscotti 4x plus the original baking for a total of 5x. These are BISCOTTI and hence, each SIDE needs to be cooked through. Each side will be HARD. You do NOT want the biscotti soft or it will not stand up {no pun intended} to being dunked in coffee or tea.Store in airtight canister for up to 1 week.
