Introduction

Ingredients

    6 tbsp Shortening, Crisco
    6 tbsp Butter, unsalted
    1 cup Granulated Sugar
    1 cup, packed Brown Sugar
    2 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw
    1 tsp Vanilla Extract
    4 cup (1 serving) Kellogg's Rice Krispies Cereal
    1.50 cup Flour - Gold medal all purpose flour
    1 tsp Baking Soda
    .50 tsp Baking Powder
    8 tbsp Nestle` BUTTERSCOTCH Morsels
    .50 cup, packed Brown Sugar
    .50 cup Granulated Sugar

Directions

1.Crush Rice Krispies in a big plastic bag first. Set aside.
2.Mix all ingredients together EXCEPT LAST 2 sugars!
3.Create little balls of dough with your hands about 1-2 inches in diameter.
4.Mix LAST 2 ingredients in a separate bowl for the topping.
5. Roll the balls in the sugar mixture.
6.Flatten on an ungreased cookie sheet with an end of a glass.{12 should fit on one cookie sheet}.
7. Put in a 350 degrees Farenheit oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
8. Store in an airtight tin as these particular cookies get stale very QUICKLY!!!!
