Introduction

Very tasty meatloaf~using ground chicken and ground beef. Very tasty meatloaf~using ground chicken and ground beef.

Ingredients

    3 cup, crumbs Bread, white (white bread)
    453 gram(s) Chicken - Extra Lean Ground chicken
    907 grams Ground beef, lean
    2 tbsp BBQ Sauce, Kraft Honey Barbecue
    2 stalk, large (11"-12" long) Celery, raw
    2 large (7-1/4" to 8-1/2" long) Carrots, raw
    4 tbsp Onion - Dried, Minced, McCormick (by POPEYETHETURTLE)
    2 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw

Tips

You will need more than 1 pan~recipe makes 1 and 1/2 loaves so 1 oblong pan and a round pan or a smaller loaf pan.


Directions

1.Cut up all celery and carrots into bite size pieces,rinsing afterward.
2.Mix all ingredients in large bowl EXCEPT bbq sauce.
3. Spoon mixture into ungreased oblong pan 9"x5" .2nd loaf can go into circular pan or smaller oblong pan.
4.Pour 2 tsp. of bbq sauce over the loaves BEFORE baking.
5.Bake in 350 degrees Farenheit oven for 1 and 1/2 hours.
6.Let meatloaf cool for 5 min. from the oven .Then,pour off drippings into another container~preferably metal. Watch out ~Spatters are HOT!
7.Discard drippings.{It becomes lard.}. ~ NOTE: I save them in the freezer and use them with birdseed and leftover~ in ~the~ jar~ peanut butter, to make a special recipe for making bird treats for outdoor birds during the winter.
8.You can either serve warm on a plate or from the pan.
