8 cans Hunts tomato paste (6 oz ea.) equal water
or 4 cans Hunts paste (13oz) plus equal water add small can of paste for thicker sauce.
    1 cup brown sugar
    1 cup white vinegar
    1 tsp salt
    1 crushed garlic clove
    1 tsp chili powder

    3 pounds ground beef
    1 pound ground pork
    1/4 cup milk
    1 large egg
    1/2 cup bread crumbs
    2 tsp salt
    2 tsp garlic powder
    2 tsp pepper
    1 tsp cayenne pepper
    1 tsp chili powder

1. Combing milk & egg, stir gently. Add bread crumbs, let sit.

2. Combine all sauce ingredients in large stock pot.

3. Bring to a simmer. Let sit.

4. Combine all meatball ingredients, adding milk, egg & crumb mixture last. Mix throughly with hands.

5. Form small to medium sized balls 1.5-3 inches in diameter.

6. Place meatballs individually into pot gently.

7. Simmer on low for 3-4 hours.

8. Service over hot spaghetti.

Sauce can also be used for other meats. Recipe freezes very well. Will keep for 4-6 months in freezer that is why the recipe is so large.

14-16 Servings of 3-4 meatballs each.
