    16 oz container 1% milk cottage cheese
    12 oz container part skim ricotta
    8 oz part skim mozzarella
    16 oz of extra lean ground turkey
    1 32 oz jar Prego marinara sauce
    9 whole wheat lasagna noodles, uncooked
    2 egg whites
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    2 tsp dried basil
    2 tsp dried oregano
    1 tsp ground thyme


1. Spray a 13 X 9 casserole with cooking spray. Preheat your oven to 350.
2. Brown ground turkey in a large nonstick saucepan.
3. In a large mixing bowl, combine riccotta, cottage cheese, egg whites, garlic, basil, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir in half the mozzarella cheese. Set aside.
4. Once turkey is browned, add the marinara sauce and heat through.
5. Layer the lasagna as follows: cover the bottom of the casserole with marinara mixture. Cover with cheese mixture, then 3 lasagna noodles. Repeat each layer twice. Cover the top of the lasagna with the remaining mozzarella.
6. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake 10 minutes more. Let stand 10-15 minutes before serving.
