Ingredients
-
1 Package Turkey Kielbasa (16 Oz) Chopped into rounds
1 large Potato
5 cups vegetable broth - more or less depending on how you like your "soup"
1 large Onion Chopped
2 Cloves of Garlic
1 Cup Carrots chopped
1 Cup or so of Cabbage Choped into chunks
1 Cup Sauerkraut to top
Cardamon for spice
Bay leaf
Dash Soy Sauce (or fish sauce if you have it)
Dash vinegar
Directions
Spray the bottom of a soup pot with cooking spray, toss in your chopped onions and garlic (add celery if you like). Add bay leaf here as well. Cook until they are slightly translucent. Add all over ingredients. The turkey kielbasa is already cooked. As soon as your carrots and potatoes are ready - the meal is ready. Serve with a helping of cold Sauerkraut on top of the bowl.
Use baby carrots to make the process even easier. You can also add apples or any other vegetables you like. Just remember to taste the broth. It is very delicate. I prefer to serve it almost as a hearty meal with just a bit of broth at the bottom.
