This was very good dish. I made it the night before and the flavors had time to blend together. I think next time I may not slice a lemon but add some lemon juice. It was very good! I will make it agian. - 9/22/08

This was really delicious, great with the brown rice, we made it with chicken breasts & legs, the flavor was very unique, a nice change from the regular chicken dinner. Don't skip the wine in it, that is what gives it the unique flavor. - 1/13/11

Tasted great! Have made this twice and thought it was great each time. I used dried oregano and parsley though because i could not find any fresh at my local market... Put over some brown rice and was very filling. - 7/12/10

This is the best chicken recipe I have ever used! Have made it 5 or 6 times and it is excellent. I increased the garlic to 2 cloves. Also, we eat it with no rice or noodles (I think it takes away from the marvelous flavor of the dish. - 2/5/10

We decided to double this recipe so the whole family could enjoy - plus leave my dinners for the week. The lemon was a bit powerful when you bit into the rhine so we just made sure not to eat that part ;) Yes, we will definately create this again! Yeah Pampered Chef Mandoline for cutting veggies! - 9/13/09

Liked the recipe but something was missing... I thought it needed a little bit of ..... um, something. Maybe I'll try a dollop of fat free sour cream in it next time and nix the lemon. - 7/19/09

None of us liked the lemon in this (and my daughter is a lemon fanatic!) I thought maybe it was because people had left the peel on, so I took mine off. Nope, still too lemony. We'll try it again without the lemon. - 4/29/09

I discovered I don't really like peppers while venturing out to make this recipe. The chicken was flavorful but the lemon slices made parts of it a bit too sour. I like the recommendation above to use lemon juice perhaps instead. I added some reduced fat sour cream while serving and that helped. - 3/20/09

Time consuming, but loved it. However, 1 lemon is too much so I had to add 1 teaspoon of honey to cut down the sour taste. And didn't use the wine either. Just broth. Nice though. Served on rice noodles b/c I don't like brown rice:) - 3/19/09

I didn't have chicken pieces, so used ground chicken, cilantro instead of parsley, lemon zest instead of slices, and home-grown red, green, and yellow sweet peppers. Served it over whole wheat spaghettini. This is very good, 8year old grandson liked it and my daughter, the prof. chef, loved it. - 9/30/07
