Introduction

A quick easy chicken supper with fresh asparagus and mushrooms. A quick easy chicken supper with fresh asparagus and mushrooms.

Ingredients

    12 oz Tyson boneless, skinless chicken breast, diced
    2 T Olive Oil
    6 ounces Asparagus, fresh
    1 ounce Mushrooms, fresh, sliced
    1 tbsp Butter, unsalted
    .2 cup Flour, white
    1.5 cup 2 % milk
    3 oz Egg Noodles, dried
    1/2 tsp Sage
    Salt, pepper to taste.

Directions

Dice chicken and sautÚ with the mushrooms in 2 T olive oil. Add asparagus after cutting into pieces and boiling until tender. Stir in dried sage. Add butter and flour to skillet, stir until mixed. Add cold milk all at once, and stir until sauce thickens. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve over cooked egg noodles.
