Ingredients

    1 lb. fresh green beans, stem end snapped
    3-4 carrots, sliced in half lengthwise and cut into quarters
    1 large sweet onion (vidalia, walla walla, etc.), peeled and sliced into 1/4"


Directions

Put 3-4 cups of water into a stockpot and place a steamer over the water. Place green beans in steam, then carrots and top with onion slices.

Cover pot, and bring to boil over medium high heat. Steam until veggies are tender but not overcooked. Times will vary depending upon heat source and toughness of green beans. Generally 7 - 10 minutes.

These veggies need no butter or oil. Just put into a serving bowl and enjoy!
