Introduction
Just a simple crust alternative for those of us that LOVE pizza but just can't 'stomach' the bread. Really you can do this for breakfast too. I try to keep my dinners light (but I eat about 5-6 times a day) but this can be used any time of day! I precooked mine the night before and put it in the fridge. Reheated in the oven at 350 till it was hot and added my toppings. Just a simple crust alternative for those of us that LOVE pizza but just can't 'stomach' the bread. Ingredients
-
1.0 large Egg, fresh, whole, raw
1.0 cup Cauliflower, raw
340.0 gram Happy Cow Creamery Mozzarella (1 serving, 28g)
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
2. Cut cauliflower
3. Shred cheese (the brand I used comes in a small block)
4. Mix cauliflower, cheese, and egg in a bowl (I used a whisk) and add whatever spices and whatnot you want. I used Cavender's Greek Seasoning.
5. Dump your mixture onto your foil lined cookie sheet (I spritzed a bit of olive oil spray on there to make sure it didn't stick) and form it into a nice, smooth, round shape that isn't too thin or thick.
6. Bake and watch to see when you can flip it. I baked mine for a total of about 20 minutes. Came out amazing! Bake times are going to vary.
Serving Size: Makes 4 servings for you to dress up with whatever ingredients you want!
