    1 medium head cabbage, shredded
    1 medium green pepper, diced
    2 cups sugar
    1 cup white vinegar
    1/4 cup water
    1 tsp salt
    1 tsp celery seed


Combine cabbage, green pepper, and salt. Let soak for 1 hour. Press out liquid.
Cook together vinegar, water, sugar, and celery seed. Boil for 1 minute. Cool to lukewarm, pour over cabbage and freeze in covered containers.
Thaw to serve. May be refrozen.

Serving Size: Makes 12 servings.
