    Canola Oil, 1 1sp
    Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped
    Peppers, red, 1 cup, chopped
    Garlic, 1 tsp
    Thyme, ground, 1 tsp
    Water, 2.25 cup
    Wild Rice, 1 cup
    Beans, black, 2 cup
    Pepper, red or cayenne, 1 tsp
    Cilantro, raw, 2 tbsp


Heat oil in a nonstick skillet. Add onion, red pepper, and garlic .Saute until softened, about 6 minutes. Add thyme, salt, cayenne, cilantro, rice and the water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, covered, 20 minutes. Add beans; do not stir; remove from heat. Cover and let stand five minutes, then stir
