Introduction

Quick and easy healthy dinner. A cheesburger without the guilt. Quick and easy healthy dinner. A cheesburger without the guilt.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    2 Hamburger Buns
    1 Small Red Onion Sliced
    6 Cherry or Plum Tomatoes halved
    1/2 LB Extra Lean Ground Beef
    1/2 C Diced Dill Pickles
    3/4 C Ketchup
    1 tbsp Yellow Mustard
    8 Cups chopped Romaine Lettuce
    1/2 C (4oz) Shredded 2% Cheddar Cheese

Directions

Slice Hamburger Buns into 1/2 in. strips. Toast in oven or toaster oven.

Cook ground beef 5 to 7 minutes till no longer pink. Breaking into crumbles. Drain Meat.

Add diced pickles, ketchup & mustard to cooked ground beef. Mix well.

To Serve, arrange lettuce on large serving platter. Spoon beef mixture over lettuce. Top with Cheese, Tomatoes and sliced Onions. Arrange hamburger bun croutons on the edge of platter. Serve immediately. Serves 6
