1/4 cup Applesauce, sweetened or unsweetened
    1 tsp Cinnamon, ground

1/2 of an apple sliced (or fruit of choice)

Tips

If you love refrigerator oatmeal there are many recipes on the web using different ingredients. Have fun with it and try new combinations!

Directions

Combine all ingredients except fresh fruit in a mason jar or other container with tight fitting lid and shake vigorously. Refrigerate overnight and add fresh fruit right before serving the next day. This recipe may need to be adjusted if you use quick oats or other kinds of oatmeal. I have noticed that more processed oats absorb less liquid and end up softer. Also, more course oats stay very firm and the end result is slightly thicker. Either way it is delicious so experiment and enjoy!
